Reiki is the ancient art of "laying on of hands" in order to heal.  It is the use of touch to convey warmth, serenity, love, caring and healing, through the chanelling of energy to enhance a person's own life force.

The Reiki Shiki Ryoho Course we teach  is a 12 week affordable course, run one evening/morning a week. It is accredited with the Reiki Association of South Africa and is a certifiable and comprehensive course, including self empowerment, Reiki 1, 2 and Advanced. The next course will commence on Saturday 11 May - 13.30 - 17.00, every Saturday for 12 weeks

Namikoshi Shiatsu practitioner training for 2013 starts 19-20 May. Classes are one weekend a month for 12 months. No previous experience of body work is required. Thorough theortical and practical training is given so you will be competant to open a practice when you receive your certificate. Classes are small so each student receives individual attention. The course can be done for self-development - then you'll be exempt from the exams!

Shiatsu uses finger pressure on acupuncture points to give physical, mental and emotional release of tension in all its forms. The course covers anatomy and physioloy, and shiatsu theory as well as the practical work. Namikoshi's prnciples of good living are covered in detail as a foundation for a healthy lifestyle. Shiatsu is more than releasing muscular tension: it is also about helping clients live more balanced, healthy lives. Shiasu can be used to alleviate specific conditions, as well as achieve and maintain good health. It is a powerful technique, and can be adpted to enhance other forms of body work. Another advantage is that as the cost of starting a practice are low.
