Labels, how many do you have? Mom, daughter, wife, friend, colleague, therapist, blah, blah, blah, so the list goes on and on.

Who are you really? Do you know?

Most of the time we don’t know and that’s the scary part, if we don’t know how can anyone else know?

Oftentimes (love that word, but not even sure it is a real word) we expect our partners, lovers, husbands, wives, children and the people we work with to know who we are and to treat us in a specific way and respect our beliefs.

And we get pee-ed off when they don’t, I mean – they should know!

If that’s not bad enough, we now have these “new kids”, these kids called Indigos, and Rainbows and Crystals coming into our space.

These awesome beings know who they are right from the beginning, and it’s a scary thing being a parent to one of these creatures.

They look at you and you just know they are thinking – “what was I thinking coming down to be part of this crazy woman’s life?”

They can communicate telepathically with ease, you have to use the freaken telephone, they instinctively know who they are, you have to go to therapy for years to try and figure that out.

Then there’s the eyes – those eyes that look at you when you are not telling the truth, telling your truth, can’t they just wear sunnies and get over it?

Well, love, hate to be the one to burst your bubble, but they ain’t going nowhere, they are everywhere now, there’s no escaping them, they are here to help us figure out who we are and what our truth is and how to honour that.

Phew what a task, and why would they do that?

Because you are worth it, because this is the only way to be – true to yourself, and moving forward this is the way it’s going to be – best we get with the program real fast.

What this means is – if someone asks you to do something for them and you really just don’t want to – you say NO.

It means that you and your needs come first, that being happy and experiencing joy is what we are here to do, that if you are not going to give 100% then don’t do it, don’t do half jobs, don’t agree to do things that don’t make your heart sing, don’t do stuff that you don’t enjoy, don’t hang out with people who are a drag and make you feel “less-than”, put up healthy boundaries and choose life.

These awesome new creatures are here to teach us how to love and accept ourselves, so if you don’t have one in your life, go and find one, its not hard, they are everywhere.

If you find yourself a nice fresh young one, they are the best, they haven’t learned how to please people yet, and probably will never anyway, embrace them and open your heart to them and allow them to show the way, and I guarantee you will not be disappointed.
