An Understudy Of The Masters As Above, So below Tools The Way It Is Welcome One and All. Who is Chanel Lingenfelder? → Spiritual Counselor → Chakra Therapist → Metaphysician -- Colour Specialist → Mediator This month celebrates the start of our new series on the tools for the trade in working with, or learning about the chakras. Each month we will cover some info on the Crystals and Essences relating to each individual chakra. Crystals Crystals are defined as a solid, such as quartz, with a regular shape in which plane faces intersect at definite angles. They are minerals that at times show an external sound color and structure, as well as internal crystalline characteristics that compliments it external appearance. The symmetrical planes intersect at definite angles, reflecting unique and structured characteristics. They are receivers and transmitters of information and energy. Most Holy Scriptures confirms their existence and usages over eons of time. Crystals belong to the Mineral Crystal Kingdom, which is linked to the 5th Dimension, the raised consciousness Dimension of the new earth; hence they support our changes from carbon to silica. After the closing of the gates to the lower worlds (21st March 2005) crystal energies were raised to hold the vehicle of consciousness that humanity has chosen to re-activate which enables us to raise beyond the lower dimensions. Matter is crystallised spirit holding a set structure. Gems stimulate the healing of the physical body, based on the principle of resonance or harmonic vibration. Crystals have a natural alignment with the electro magnetic fields. When the body is diseased, it holds unstable molecular patterns which gemstones can heal as light passes though it, as with a laser beam. When used therapeutically these work well with Chromo therapy, they’re pure in colour and unadulterated in their affairs. Rays are also concentrated in the gems as they have been in earth soil for thousands of years. These can be used to balance, harmonise and integrate energy. Crystals are the most highly evolved form of consciousness in the mineral kingdom and are physical tools for reflecting mans own Inner Light and can be invaluable for self-transformation. The average human vibrates at 200 - 400 cycles per second (evolved up to 900), and by using crystals (in any way or form) the human vibration at this time is being raised up to 2000 cycles per second, which also explains the principle of some folk being unable to sleep in close vicinity of crystals. They are the skeletal structures of mother earth and therefore work congruently with the skeletal structures of the human body. Our bones also contains past life info, which can be retrieved and cleared during treatments. The crystal kingdom is referred to as 'the key to the other side' linking the earth and spirit planes, hence the 'new children' relate to crystals naturally giving them comfort and a feeling of belong. Crystals are emanating vibrations, calling out to us to connect with them, regardless of what our knowledge of crystals are. By simply having crystals within your environment it will uplift the quality of energy that you are exposed to. To protect against radiation the most popular to use are Sodalite, Rose Quartz, and Amethyst. When spending hours in front of a PC wear Rose Quartz especially, which supports the Thymus Gland therefore supports one in staying within your truths and true expression of the self (also use Ruby) Crystals (especially Sodalite) should also rightfully be used to clear radiation, pesticides, toxins, and steroids from foods, fruits and preparation ingredients (even on the dinning table), and naturally it goes without saying all meals should accompany a prayer of Thanks and Blessings, try it you might be pleasantly surprised at the biological effect. Cleaning Crystals – Between clients rinse crystals with clear (and if you can) pure water, then spray with a salt mist spray and give thanks for their presence and energy. Always bathe crystals in the full moon energy at night (one can use them during the day at this time) – one day before the full moon, and one day after to seal and enhance the effect. I make a habit of leaving mine out for about a week over the full moon period and try not to use them too much during this rejuvenation time. If you use your crystals very often soak them in a high saltwater solution once a week, overnight. As with everything – where the attention goes – the energy flows! – Set the intention, everything in life is about intention. Make sure that you purchase your crystals from a reputable outlet and not some savage being that rapes the earth for her crystalline gifts purely for trade, since those stones suffer a lowering of their vibration due to their destructive manhandling and unless you know how to help restore their vibrations, their frequencies may be inadequate for usage. Radiation (TVs computers, microwave etc.) is one of the subtlest destroyers, which impacts on the Thymus Gland especially. When the Thymus gland is weakened due to radiation, then one has difficulty utilizing the ability to express one’s Truth, to communicate one’s needs. Aroma Essence Aroma essence is obtained from plant extracts and the essential oils are used for aromatherapy, medications, skin products, sprays and mists etc and used for their physical, mental, emotional and spiritual properties and commonly administered either through the process of absorption, or via the Olfactory Nerve (smell). With application their molecules are absorbed via the skin (especially warm skin), and travel within the plasma towards the lymphatic system, then distributed to the various cells, tissues and organs according to their characteristics. This theory has already been scientifically proved extensively by means of blood, urine and breath samples. It takes a great deal of work to produce a tiny amount of essential oil. For example 60 000 rose blossoms equals one ounce of rose oil, 100 kilos of Lavender will produce 3 kilos of oil. Then there are the extreme cases (very expensive oils) such as Jasmine which has to be hand picked in the morning before full sun on the very first day the flowers open, and Sandalwood where the tree has to be at least 30 years old and thirty feet high before it is cut down for distillation. Essential oils are extracted from various certain varieties of trees, shrubs, herbs, grasses, bark and flowers. The most common method still in use is via steam distillation, although some other uses include solvent extraction, expression, enfleurage, and maceration. On average essential oils contains close to 100 components of which the chief of these are terpenes, alcohols, esters, aldehydes, ketones, and phenols. For this reasons it is imperative NOT TO TAKE ALCOHOL after an aromatherapy treatment. The oil in the blood is attracted to the alcohol by means of long chains of fatty acids (which separated them during distillation) hence the alcohol and the oil both rush to the stomach and attach there to whatever has been ingested, and the result…not good! Warning – A large variety of oils are contra-indicated for pregnancies, high blood pressure, heart ailments etc. Please be sure to consult a medical doctor prior to using essential oils, don’t be mislead thinking their effect to be much milder than that of allopathic medicines. This is an illusion. As with crystals be sure to obtain your essential oil from a reputable agent and not some fly by night outlet. The Root chakra – The Crimson Base The Root Stones Smokey Quartz The number one choice for the root chakra (and also excellent at solar plexus) with it colour ranging from light Smokey grey – dark Smokey grey – black. The Sacral Essences Bergamot Reggio Di Calabria, at the tip of Italy’s boot is recognized as the only town surrounded by bergamot trees in the world. Many other places have tried to cultivate the trees but with little or no success. Bergamot essential oil of unsurpassed quality comes exclusively from this region. It is believed that Christopher Columbus discovered the tree in the Canary Islands and transported it to Italy where it thrived better than its indigenous homeland. It belongs to the citrus genus, and cultivated like orange and lemon trees although growing up to 16 feet it seem to be more fragile than these two. Its flowers are white star-shape blossoms smaller than the orange/lemon, and its fruit distinctly yellow in colour. The essential oil is derived from inedible green fruit. Hidden in the skin of the fruits are small oil ducts, which contain the treasure of its qualities. It is a sought after main ingredient in expensive colognes and perfumes. In South Africa (as with many other herbs) it can be found just about everywhere, growing especially lush in cooler more damp temperatures. It was named ‘foeniculum’ by the Romans probably because ‘feonum’ translated means ‘hay’ and fennel does touch on the hay smell. It uses are very versatile ranging from food, medicinal right through to aesthetic, and for its most peculiar smell. In older times it was a common herb for flatulence. The substance within the fennel oil residue gives it its characteristics of anti-spasmodic, carminative, stomachic, aromatic, expectorant and diuretic properties. It has been used in China for illnesses thought to be caused by cold and dampness – rheumatism, colds, head-aces and muscle tension. This oils antiseptic property makes it a good preventative remedy for infectious illnesses and diseases. It’s a good carminative (able to relieve flatulence). It helps reduce motion and morning sickness. Being an anti-spasmodic brilliant for flatulence and over indulgence. It’s an excellent aphrodisiac especially if mixed with Ylang Ylang, and as a digestive with Cypress. Good for male impotency. It can be used in food, as a topical essential oil and diluted after a meal. Marjoram This extension of the mint family is native to Europe and grows wild on dry sunny slopes, hedge banks, roadsides and grassland, usually on lime-rich soils. The further north you travel, the less likely to find this species in the wild. Naturally it’s commonly cultivated in many countries but most species are still collected from the wild in the Mediterranean region. Its generic name Origanum comes from the Greek words ‘Oros’ (mountain) and ‘Ganos’ (splendid joy), named after its attractive appearance and scent of the flowers and leaves which are found growing naturally in the mountains of Greece and other Mediterranean countries. Besides being a frequent daily used steaming herb it is still considered a remedy for all manner of complaints. The components found within this herb give Marjoram astringent, expectorant, anti-spasmodic, antiseptic, mild tonic, stomachic, and carminative properties. In herbal teas treat gall bladder disorders, diarrhea, coughs, asthma, nervous head-ace, general exhaustion, and menstrual pain. Externally it can be used in gargles, bath preparations, liniments and inhalants. An all time favourite in the kitchen, (especially in Italy) where its flavour blends fabulously with pastas and pizzas. The wild variation has a much stronger taste than the cultivated sweet marjoram. Brilliant for anxiety attacks, grief, sorrow, emotional exhaustion and insomnia. It mixes well with lavender, bergamot and rose. It also calms an excessive sex drive (if you have the need to slow down). Monks grew it as a sedative, it was planted on graves of the newly departed to bring them peace, newly wed couples received garlands of this herb to bring them good fortune and more practically always a winner for muscle spasm and as a antidote to poisoning. Like fennel it is good for flatulence and intestinal cramps. It helps lower high blood pressure, stimulates the parasympathetic nervous system, and prevents blockages in the sympathetic nervous system. It also dilates blood vessels (like the deeper orange effect). The goddess Aphrodite is reputed to have guarded as a symbol of happiness. It acts brilliantly on all muscle tissue.
