Information On Kinesiology
Kinesiology follows the philosophy of we are created perfectly for what it is we are to achieve in life. However, sometimes and for various reasons, we find ourselves in distress. This is our body's way of indicating that we are "off track" and an area, or areas of our life are in need of attention. Put differently, we present with dis-ease symptoms and this is the messenger our body uses to focus our attention on the fact that we are not living life to our full potential.
Kinesiology uses the scientific knowledge of the functioning of the muscles and the Central Nervous system to identify areas of blockage and imbalance. This means a suitably qualified and trained kinesiology facilitator can identify, specific to you what has caused an imbalance, and why, and then to apply appropriate techniques to restore balance and harmony. Once back on track, we can continue living with a better quality of life.
This technique is suitable for anybody and everybody. We can all find ways to improve the quality of our emotional, mental and physical well-being. Kinesiology is a gentle, non-invasive method of identifying what is going on, and how to restore that sense of well-being we are longing for.
Remember: the symptom is NOT the problem! Symptoms are messengers, the body communicating that there are imbalances present. Are you experiencing any of these messengers or perhaps others?
Neck and/or back pain
Low blood sugar
Phobias or addictions
What Kinesiology does NOT do:
Kinesiology does not diagnose, prescribe or treat - we work towards solutions and improving the quality of life. Only your body can heal itself - like healing a cut or broken bone. We help the body to do this.
Kinesiology does not interfere with faith or religious beliefs - we are trained to work with the realm of your belief systems to best assist in finding solutions to improve your well-being.
Kinesiology does not make predictions.
What Kinesiology DOES do:
Kinesiology does promise the following:
greater understanding of yourself
choices where none seemed to exist before
acceptance and understanding
more appropriate and increases functioning ability
an improved quality of life
