Traditional Treatments

Curing brain cancer depends on where the tumor is situated and how far the poison has spread. It may be removed surgically and the patient may recover fully.  Radiation therapy and sometimes chemotherapy are customary to make sure stray cancer cells are killed. Brain tumors that are located too deep in the brain cant be removed without causing severe brain damage. In these cases chemotherapy and refined radiation therapy will be the treatment. This treatments are unlikely to cure the cancer ,but they may slow the growth of the cancer cells and let the patient live longer.  When cure is impossible, the main focus will be on providing comfort and maintain nerve function.
