Schizophrenia

Schizophrenia is a mental illness which is characterized by severe irrationality in behavior and thought. Most sufferers feel that they are different and are not connected with others and are often lonely and anxious and do not know why they feel this way. Sufferers often have their own way of communicating and often do not stick with one idea or flit from one idea to the next quite quickly and not make any sense to the person who is listening to them. They are also very suspicious and sometimes they can hear voices speaking to them. If a person happens to experience at least two of the following symptoms, he may be diagnosed with schizophrenia:

 Hallucinations
Delusions
Negative symptoms - silence, loss of will, inaction....
Disorganized speech
Irrational behavior
Rigidity or floppiness of limbs
A noticeable decrease in the ability to interact with others
