Having someone to look up to and confide in is one of the most important aspects of a child's life. Today we are faced with the growing problem that our youth/children have very few positive role models available to them.

BIG BROTHERS BIG SISTERS OF SOUTH AFRICA is the opportunity YOU have, to really get involved and make a difference. By supporting a youth/child in making good life decisions, believing in and acting on good values, is what our community needs, as they are not only the future leaders, but our future parents as well.

We live in a society were many children witness their parents, siblings, neighbours and friends being victims to verbal, physical and emotional abuse , or they themselves are victims to abuse, yet there is not much done to end this cycle of continuous violence. By role modelling and teaching our youth that their strength is not to hurt, nor to dominate, but to nurture and to love... we can make a huge difference.
