Animals are our TEACHERS, HEALERS
and MIRRORS, our very own personal therapists! They
help us feel better about ourselves, lower out heart rate and blood pressure and
facilitate the release of feel-good hormones. Acting as our mirrors, they
reflect aspects of ourselves right back at us. By increasing our self-awareness,
we can enter into mutually beneficial relationships with animals, and support
our spiritual development.
Animal lovers have honed their empathic and
telepathic skills during years spent living with companion animals. We often
just “know” when something is ailing our animal friend, or feel helpless when we
cannot ease their pain. This natural relationship is in fact based on love, love
which we don’t think to censor, as animals return it, unconditionally.
There
is a constant flow of information between “us and them”, communication that is
there for us to understand and act on. We can develop skills which will help us
understand non-verbal communication, using our intuition
By acknowledging and
nurturing these special relationships we benefit through lessons of
understanding and compassion, experiencing a connection that extends beyond the
boundaries of this three dimensional reality. Animals in their non-judgmental
way, present lessons in how we can heal and they encourage us to accept
ourselves as they accept us.
Satori’s Mission Statement:- As animal
lovers we would like to contribute to the growing awareness of the sentient
beings with whom we share our planet. We would like to share our observations
and the skills we have learned over the years with you, helping you to connect
and deepen your relationships with the animals in your lives. It is our
responsibility to present information that in no way replaces veterinary advice
or care, but that will hopefully empower you, to make soul-felt decisions which
influence the lives of yourself and your animals. We aim to be non-judgmental,
and to always remember that the animal’s well-being is of the utmost importance.
Our goal is to bridge the gap between human/animal understanding and awareness
thereby promoting the Human-Animal bond. Information is presented in a
compassionate and practical way, as we facilitate people on their own journeys
of discovery
Facilitators: Colleen Mulrooney Colleen is passionate
about animals and their welfare and is especially intrigued by the nature of the
Human-Animal Bond. By exploring the spiritual aspects of our mutual
interactions, she hopes to create awareness about the importance of animals in
our lives. Colleen has a Certificate from Pretoria Technikon in Ethology; is a
qualified TTouch Practitioner for Horses; an Animal Portrait Artist and a
part-time student at Dr Colleen-Joy Page’s Academy of Metaphysics.
Workshop Goals --To impart
information in such a way that it inspires people to strengthen the bond between
themselves and their animal companions.

childhood Carol Mulrooney has felt a strong connection to nature and the animal
kingdom and always just “knew” what animals needed. She is a Reiki Master, and

the Academy of Metaphysics with Dr. Colleen-Joy Page. Carol is also a writer and

founder of Satori - Place of Healing and Enlightenment.
Workshop Goals --To assist people
in understanding that our animal companions choose to be with us as our teachers
and healers, and that we can communicate with them on the physical, mental and
soul level, and that they remain in constant touch with us, even from the
spiritual realm.
