Co-dependency refers to the victim, perpetrator and rescuer roles and the relationship dynamics, games and attachments that are associated with these roles. This can be in your relationships with your romantic partner, friends, children, parents, colleagues, employees or others.

When you experience yourself as being a victim, you are often caught up in the games of co-dependency. When you are stuck in any of the victim, rescuer or perpetrator roles, you look for someone or something outside of yourself to give you happiness and fulfilment. You neglect yourself and your own needs in order to please others. You often struggle to say no. You feel stuck, empty and powerless. You often surround yourself with abusive people and/or people with addictions, or struggle with addictions yourself. You feel used and not appreciated. You are often very critical of yourself and/or of others. You struggle to move away from toxic relationships and situations. You tend to repeat the same ‘mistakes’ over and over again.

In a co-dependent relationship, you become entangled in the dynamics of the relationship. You become so entangled that you are unable to look at the relationship objectively. You repeat destructive cycles and get more and more entangled in the roles and interactive patterns. You feel caught up, stuck and powerless. You lose control over your life.

Understanding the dynamics of co-dependency and identifying the different attachments and roles and games that you and others play, will help you break free from these destructive patterns of functioning. By freeing yourself, you also free others.

In this workshop, you will have the opportunity to release these patterns and attachments and to reconnect with your authentic power, beauty and light. Building new or rebuilding previous relationships on a firm foundation of trust in the self and authentic power becomes possible, with a life in peace and bliss to follow.

About the workshop facilitators
Jacqui Gilbert has an international following as an inspirational facilitator of personal growth and healing workshops. Since 1976, she has worked regularly throughout Africa, Europe and the Far East, using techniques of channeling, healing, meditation and transformational energy processes. Jacqui began her journey into spirituality about twenty five years ago, but began seeing auras and Spirit beings around her from early childhood. Her own healing experiences energize her work with others. She began working with the Tarot and Runes, became a Reiki Master and has since developed her own healing therapies with the guidance of Spirit. She has been teaching metaphysics for the past 17 years. Today Jacqui is recognized as a powerful psychic, healer and channel in her own right and is the founder of the Transformation Development Centre, an organization supporting people on their journey of personal growth and healing. Jacqui creates an environment where you feel safe working in an energy of unconditional love, with much humour and joy. She presents specialized courses and powerful healing workshops with energizing tools for accelerated personal growth, healing and metamorphosis.

Dr.Tertia Vogt is a Clinical Hypnotherapist in Private Practice in Centurion and Fourways. She focuses on the holistic healing of the mind, body and soul of the individual within his/her social environment. She has studied extensively, both locally and abroad. Some of her qualifications include a Masters’ degree in Medical Social Work, a Doctorate in Psychology and a Doctorate in RoHun Therapy. RoHun therapy focuses on the cleansing and healing of all the energy systems of the body and the raising of vibration, enabling the individual to hold more light. She is also a Teacher Healer and a Ritual Master, in the lineage of King Solomon, in the Modern Mystery Schools. Tertia is an individual, couple, family and group therapist, a Reiki Master, an experienced workshop facilitator and a teacher. She works with the guidance of Spirit. Healing takes place in a safe, non-judgemental environment, filled with unconditional love, guidance and support.
