Hypnotherapy (NBSR treatment)
|
 |
Andrew Wilding
Successful treatments
include smoking, weight loss,
substance abuse, past life
regression, anxiety, depression,
releasing grief, overcoming toxic
relationships, eating disorders,
nervous disorders, exam stress,
fears and phobias, memory
improvement, panic attacks,
repairing relationships by
understanding you and your partner's
natural behaviour according to brain
hemisphere dominance, sexual
dysfunction, stuttering...
As a rule, our behaviour is
controlled by the mind, and anything
that is controlled by the mind can
be cured in hypnosis.
Andrew uses music which he
has created using computer software
to stimulate the Alpha state of
consciousness (8 - 13 hz). Alpha
state can be experienced either as
waking or sleeping, thus, a "waking
dream" is created, during which
suggestions for the desired
behaviour are easily taken into the
subconscious mind. Reiki received in
this state acts as a catalyst for
the blissful state, and accelerates
the healing process. |
What is NBSR?
Neurobehavioral Sound Reprogramming
is the combination of 3 ancient
healing techniques: Reiki, Sound
Healing, and Hypnotherapy, by
international Counseling
Hypnotherapist, musician, Radio
Personality on FMR 101.3 Cape Town,
Reiki Master, and Hatha Yoga
Instructor Andrew Wilding.
Most common treatments are ADD;
addictions; anxiety / depression;
fears / phobias; gambling;
hypoglycemia; insomnia; memory
improvement; nervous behavior; past
life regression; relationship
improvement; smoking; stuttering;
sexual dysfunction; and weight loss. |

The Brain
In Action

 |
Recent developments in behavioural
psychology and brain scanning
technology have caused the emergence
of a hybrid field called Systems
Neuroscience.
As technology improves, we are
discovering more and more scientific
grounds for behavioural theories.
For example, Psychologists have
always believed that the
subconscious mind programs our
behaviour. Functional magnetic
resonance imaging or fMRI has
improved to the point where every
activity in the brain can be
observed. What is really happening
here is that we are witnessing for
the first time in history, a visual
record of our behaviour programs in
operation.
We can now literally see the neural
network that causes a specific
behaviour, and observe how this
network has changed after the
behaviour has been altered in
hypnosis. |

John
Kappas (Ph.D.) founder of the
Hypnosis Motivation Institute in
California, has contributed a
lifetime of priceless research and
development to the study of
Hypnosis. Thanks to his work,
Hypnosis has become an exact science
that can be measured, monitored, and
predicted. His most outstanding
achievement, and the subject of his
Ph.D. was a study of the proportion
of left and right brain hemisphere
dominance in humans, and its effect
on our behavior.
His Doctorate thesis
revealed:
-
hat any given given human population is divided by
50% in brain hemisphere dominance, regardless of
gender, and that this dominance is by degree, for
example 30% left, 70% right;
-
that the behavioral blueprint resulting from said
dominance is predictable: left hemisphere dominance
causes analytical, introverted behavior; right
hemisphere dominance causes expressive, extroverted
behavior;
-
that left hemisphere dominant people are attracted
to right hemisphere dominant people in
relationships, and vice versa.
The myriad, faceted applications of these
findings kept Dr. Kappas busy for the next 30 years,
during which time he discovered that relationships
could be salvaged, even from the rockiest of shores,
by the awareness and acceptance of one's own and
one's partner's subconscious behavioral blueprint.

Theory Of Mind and Dreaming
Another pearl from the mind of Dr. Kappas is his
explanation of how the mind works. According to
classical psychology theory, 88% of the human mind is
subconscious, 12% is conscious. These figures come from
the field of neurology, where it can be seen that 88% of
the brain is dedicated to subconscious phenomenen such
as long term memory, desires, creativity, function of
the organs, etc, and that only 12% of the brain is
needed for conscious thought such as logic, reasoning,
and decision-making. Of this 12%, the average human uses
between 4 and 8%, depending on the individual's IQ. An
astonishing 88% of our day is governed by subconscious
programs. By changing the subconscious program in
hypnosis, we can change our behavior.
