 Dangers
of Caesarean Birth
Caesarean births are
very popular with many
'advantages' for the
Gynaecologist e.g.
predictable birth, no
late night or early
morning deliveries, can
schedule his day etc.
For the hospital it
means a nice orderly use
of their birthing
facilities, 20 minutes
per birth etc. For the
mom it is also
predictable, no pain and
a cut on her bikini
line.
The only one that is not
consulted and is the one
most affected is the
baby. There are no
advantages for the
normal healthy baby to
be born in this
unnatural manner.
When I used the term
'normal healthy baby', I
mean a baby that has no
obvious problems. There
is a time when a
Caesarean is essential,
e.g. baby is too big (as
was the case with my
son, 4.2kg and almost 48
hours of labour), the
baby's and or mother's
life is in danger. There
are plenty more
examples.
The baby has to live
with the results of this
birth for the rest of
its life.
The biggest disadvantage
for the baby are
auto-immune diseases and
a very weak immune
system. Auto-immune
diseases are things like
asthma, eczema and
allergies to mention a
few. Caesarean babies
are far more prone to
these problems than
natural birth babies.
Their immune system is
also, generally, weak.
The reason for this is
that our immune system
consists of two parts
and inflammatory part
and a regulatory part.
The initial part is the
inflammatory response,
some allergen, such as
pollen, stimulates the
dendrites, a type of
cell, which converts
T-Cells into
inflammatory T-Cells
which then cause the
inflammatory response,
the eczema, the tight
chest, runny nose etc.
This is a good thing in
the beginning but if it
lasts too long it
becomes the auto-immune
disease.
The inflammatory
response is regulated by
the regulatory response.
Certain T-Cells are
converted to regulatory
T-Cells and they stop
the inflammatory
response. This process
is controlled by
bacteria in the large
intestine.
When the baby is in the
womb it is in a sterile
environment. When the
baby passes down the
birth channel it comes
in contact with bacteria
for the first time.
These are essential and
are 'good' bacteria
essential for the babies
growth, correct
development and immune
system development.
So for your babies
health please do not
have a Caesarean birth
unless absolutely
necessary.

force energy, according to Reiki, is what

Mammography vs
Thermography
The news
report I saw knocking thermograms was based
on ONE case of a woman who received a false
negative, indicating she didn't have cancer
when in fact she did. The reporter then
trotted out sound bites from a couple of
radiologists (who make their living off of
X-rays) to say that of course thermograms
aren't good for much and women should stick
to mammograms.

Understanding
Menopause
The menopause is defined as the permanent
cessation of menstruation and fertility,
naturally occurring at about the age of
45-55 years of age. Menopause is the total
cessation of menstruation for 12 months.
Should menopause begin before the age of 40,
it is referred to as premature menopause or
premature ovarian failure, whether induced
or due to natural physiological process.
Menopause results due to changes in hormone
levels: Initially FSH (Follicle Stimulating
Hormone), and then later LH (Luteinising
Hormone) concentrations begin to rise, due

Thai Chicken & Mango Stir-Fry
|

Ingredients
-
2 tablespoons
plus 1 teaspoon
fish sauce (see
Note)
- 2 tablespoons
lime juice
- 1 1/2
teaspoons
cornstarch
- 1-2 teaspoons
brown sugar
- 4 teaspoons
canola oil,
divided
- 1 pound
chicken tenders,
cut into 1-inch
pieces
- 2 cloves
garlic, minced
- 1 teaspoon
minced fresh
ginger
- 1-2 fresh
small red or
green chile
peppers, stemmed
and sliced, or
1/2-3/4 teaspoon
crushed -red
pepper
- 4 cups
bite-size
broccoli florets
- 1/4 cup water
- 2 mangoes,
peeled and
sliced
- 1 bunch
scallions, cut
into 1-inch
pieces
- 1/4 cup
chopped fresh
cilantro
- 1/4 cup
chopped fresh
basil,
preferably Thai
- 1/4 cup
chopped fresh
mint
- 1 lime, cut
into 6 wedges
(optional) |
Method
1. Combine
fish sauce, lime juice,
cornstarch and brown sugar to
taste in a small bowl.
2. Heat 2 teaspoons oil in a wok
or large skillet over high heat.
Add chicken; cook, stirring,
until just cooked through, 5 to
7 minutes. Transfer to a plate.
3.
Add the remaining 2 teaspoons
oil, garlic, ginger and chiles
(or crushed red pepper) to the
pan. Cook, stirring, until
fragrant, about 15 seconds. Add
broccoli and water; cook,
stirring, until beginning to
soften, about 2 minutes. Add
mangoes and scallions; cook,
stirring, for 1 minute. Add the
reserved sauce and chicken;
cook, stirring, until the sauce
is thickened and the chicken is
heated through, about 1 minute.
Stir in cilantro, basil and
mint. Serve with lime wedges, if
desired.

Only a dad with a
tired face,
Coming home from the daily race,
Bringing little of gold or fame
To show how well he has played the game;
But glad in his heart that his own
rejoice
To see him come and to hear his voice.
Only a dad with a brood of four,
One of ten million men or more
Plodding along in the daily strife,
Bearing the whips and the scorns of
life,
With never a whimper of pain or hate,
For the sake of those who at home await.
Only a dad, neither rich nor proud,
Merely one of the surging crowd,
Toiling, striving from day to day,
Facing whatever may come his way,
Silent whenever the harsh condemn,
And bearing it all for the love of them.
Only a dad but he gives his all,
To smooth the way for his children
small,
Doing with courage stern and grim
The deeds that his father did for him.
This is the line that for him I pen:

What are the 20 powers of Creation?
The 20
Count finds its roots in the ancient cultures of
Mesoamerica. It is one of the oldest forms of
numerology and mathematics. Within it, can be
described all that exists, including all unseen
powers and energies, as well as the relationships of
all life forms and all aspects of being human.
Through these powers can be discovered how the
universe came to exist and the infinite ways it has
of expressing itself
throughout time, space and dimension. You could say
it is the ancient precursor to quantum physics,
science, human psychology and
physiology.

are directly related to the quality of your sacred
(self) image.
