It appears that everyone has the desire to be healthy, however, very few people know themselves well enough to recognize that their illness is an expression of some part of their own mind that does not wish to be healthy, or that does not know how to be well. We can ‘re-teach’ ourselves to be well if we are willing to look within for the answers and not hand over the responsibility for our health to others.
Rei-Flexology works on all levels, but first on a mental and emotional one. Don’t be surprised if a physical condition does not disappear overnight. Rei-Flexology works to achieve long-term improvements by helping the person address, heal and release the issues that initially caused the problem. This may happen consciously, or in a very subtle way.
Rei-Flexology not only heals diseases but also amplifies innate abilities, balances the spirit, makes the body healthy and ultimately helps us achieve happiness.
Happiness is simply a state of mind. Releasing negative habits and learning to develop genuine positive thoughts and feelings about ourselves, our circumstances and others, is the key to lasting happiness. It takes practice to develop day-to-day mindfulness, to recognize our thoughts, rather than being carried away on the endless stream of worries, distractions and emotions . Stopping and examining our thinking through the practice of daily mindfulness, meditation and Rei-Flexology are the first steps towards real freedom. We will become more self aware and less self-absorbed.
We should try not to avoid problems, but seek an understanding of their origin and thereby arrive at a lasting solution. We do not have to accept problems, there are always many things we can do to improve our quality of life, whatever our level of health or wealth. Simply by adopting a peaceful and positive state of mind, we exercise our power to enjoy life. We have the power to change our lives forever!
