Third EYE by Maxine Immelman

Blog Pineal Gland ‌

At the very center of your brain is a raisin-sized gland that just might be the key to the Universe…

Your pineal gland is a tiny organ that is located at the very center of your skull. Despite its small size, the role it plays in your spiritual evolution is more important than any other single part of your body.

Your pineal receives more blood flow per cubic area than any other gland in your body. In other words, compared to all your other organs – including your lungs, your heart and your brain – this tiny little gland gets the highest concentration of energy.

It is also the key player in your sleep and wake cycles, being very sensitive to light. When it is functioning properly, in other words, it’s not being blocked by various substances (as I will discuss further on), you won’t suffer from insomnia – at all!

Stress also plays a major role here, but when your pineal gland doesn’t produce enough melatonin, you can’t have a good night’s rest. Many of my clients use melatonin supplements to help them sleep well. But, in reality, you don’t need that, simply focus on keeping your pineal gland balanced and healthy.

Spiritually speaking, in the ancient Vedic energy system of the chakras, the pineal gland is referred to as ‘Ajna’ or ‘3rd Eye’ chakra. This is because the ancients knew that the pineal gland functions very much like an eye – your ‘inner eye’.

Modern studies reveal that the gland’s watery interior contains rods and cones, just like in your physical eyes. That explains why when you visualize something strongly enough, you can literally see it “in your mind’s eye.”

With these proven properties: high blood flow, a connection to your sleep cycles, and retinal-like rods and cones, the pineal gland obviously plays an important role in your overall well-being. Unfortunately for most of us, this gland is atrophied, dormant and calcified to the point of uselessness.

It also secretes a substance called Dimethyltryptamine (DMT). DMT is a hallucinatory substance that is also found in the South American shamanic brew called Ayahuasca. DMT induces experiences that can take you well beyond common states of awareness. It unleashes your dormant ‘super powers’ and enable you to access a higher consciousness more easily.

STAR OF BETHLEHEM - Bach Flower Therapy - Margie Jones

‌ star of bethlehem 3

The Comfort Flower – From Shock to Reorientation

For those in great distress under conditions which for a time produce great unhappiness. The shock of serious news, the loss of someone dear, the fright following an accident etc. For those who for a time cannot be consoled, this remedy brings comfort………… Dr Edward Bach.

In the negative:…….
Star of Bethlehem relates to the Soul’s potential for resurrection. Those in the negative Star of Bethlehem state have been shocked and remain in a kind of inner numbness. Star of Bethlehem is indicated for all the consequences of physical, mental and spiritual traumatic experiences, whether or not they have occurred at birth or only yesterday. It is one of the most important ingredients in Rescue Remedy- it rapidly transforms any form of trauma and restores the self-healing mechanisms of the the body.

The word “shock” here includes any impact of energy on our bodies or minds that is too strong for our energetic system to handle and therefore distorts the result.

The echos of these experiences are embodied. In some instances it is as if the shock of the incident fractures or dislocates you from yourself and you need to be brought back together again. You hope that time will heal it, meanwhile the trauma remains  with you. It may be close to the surface appearing as nightmares  or as flashbacks or just lie hidden within your negative emotions. It may be suppressed and re-appear during a stressful period later in life.

In The Positive………

Star of Bethlehem rouses the personality from mental numbness, reconnecting it with the Higher Self. The personality reintegrates on all levels, becomes livelier, regains the ability to to cope with normal energies, has greater vitality, mental clarity and inner strength. It has a relaxing effect on the throat or any nervous problems related to swallowing, “stuck in the throat”.

Star of Bethlehem can be useful for new borns to counteract the trauma of cutting the umbilical cord. With Walnut it can ease the change to a new form of existence. Some Practitioners suggest adding this mixture to the infants bath water.

Key Symptoms: ………
These can be the after effects of any physical, mental or psychic shocks that occurred long ago or recently.
