From Seeking To Seeing - Mindfulness Meditation
David Gardner / Weekend / 31 March-2 April

environment_1_20150206_1253799082 ‌

If you are interested in learning to meditate for a calmer and clearer mind or to deepen your meditation practice, this retreat will focus on meditation and mindfulness practices to help you to realise your inherent wakefulness; to train and retain embodied awareness, and to understand the hindrances and challenges of meditation practice. Whether you are a beginner or committed practitioner, this process will empower you to cultivate presence, clarity, adaptability, creativity and patience. The weekend will be held in an atmosphere of noble silence and introspection.

David Gardner has been teaching for eleven years and studied meditation, yoga, martial arts, movement, acrobatics and dance with some remarkable teachers across the world. He formed 'Original Condition' - a meditation, mindful and creative movement practice that helps people to get started with theirs. He facilitates a learning environment where people can clearly see what obstacles are in their way, and provides transformative tools in the form of meditation and movement that empower people to turn perceived problems into solutions.

Tibetan Dream Yoga: The Practice Of Lucid Dreaming

 Chamtrul Rinpoche / Weekend / 24-26 March

‌ WhatsApp Image 2023-01-16 at 16.10.00

Most of us spend a third of our life asleep. Even though the mental state is more subtle when the body is asleep, it doesn't mean that we can't have an alert, meditative, observing mind. In fact, certain practices prove to be even more effective during this state, as we are less distracted by the five physical senses. In order to access dreams and to turn them towards the Buddhist path, we first have to realize that we are in fact dreaming. Tibetan Dream Yoga is the original form of Lucid Dreaming documented for 1,000 years where the aim is to awaken the consciousness in the dream state and to develop wisdom.
