The Sweat Lodge is a sacred space to send prayers for Self, Life and Others.
We begin by preparing the space for Ceremony; the Lodge itself as a representation of the feminine receptive womb, balanced with the sacred fire as the masculine active conception energy.
We clear, protect and activate it for our shared purpose. Once the space is ready, we gather together to speak our names and heart intentions, to be heard and seen and witnessed before entering the Lodge.
This sacred womb of Grandmother Earth is then heated by the warmth of the Stone Children and the space is catalysed by the calling in of the Directions, the powers and energies of the Universe.
Four rounds guide us into a deep inner place of release, to let go of resistance, empty out and become receptive. The Lodge becomes a sacred chamber of union, where the energies of earth, sky, and spirit merge to bring about change, rebirth and renewal.
We bring the experience to a close with time for integration, followed by a bring and share feast in community.
