Review – Kinesiology with Chrisna Ashforth

Chrisna Ashforth

Chrisna Ashforth is passionate about helping others, and that passion shines brilliantly through her work. From the moment I met her, I could sense how much she genuinely cares about what she does.

Kinesiology uses gentle muscle-monitoring techniques as a way of exploring the body’s responses and accessing information that may help identify areas requiring greater balance and awareness. In simple terms, it looks at the relationship between the body, mind and emotions and aims to support a more balanced state.

As Carl Jung so beautifully said: “Who looks outside, dreams; who looks inside, awakens.”

I went for a kinesiology treatment with Chrisna on a Saturday evening, curious to see what the experience would reveal. During the session, we explored energy flow and meridians, and I became increasingly aware of emotions and patterns that I hadn’t necessarily been conscious of.

There were tears, there was laughter, and there were some wonderful moments of realisation! By the time the session was over, I felt noticeably lighter and more positive. More importantly, I left with a renewed sense of motivation and a desire to reconnect with the things I truly love.

For me, the experience was a reminder that looking inward can sometimes provide valuable insight into what we need to move forward.

If you’re curious about exploring kinesiology with Chrisna, she would be delighted to hear from you.

Books can touch us in unexpected ways, but occasionally a story reaches somewhere much deeper. Allison’s Spiritual Chat on: Death and the Loss of a Loved One was one such book for me. Her collection of stories and reflections on death, grief, and the journey of those left behind brought back memories I had carried for years, while also offering comfort and a different way of looking at loss. Through her compassionate words and spiritual perspective, Allison explores how we might find meaning, peace, and renewed hope after losing someone we love.

  • Understanding Animals – Review

An Animal Communication workshop with Tammy offered a fascinating opportunity to slow down, listen and become more aware of our connection with the animals around us. Over two days, Tammy guided us through exercises focused on relaxation, trust and listening to our inner voice. We were able to practise communicating with animals belonging to other participants, making the experience both interactive and deeply personal. What stayed with me most was the sense of connection, love and respect that emerged throughout the workshop, leaving me eager to continue learning and exploring this unique experience.
